A Case of Gonadoblastoma of Dysgenetic Gonad

Abstract

|
|
A case gonadoblastoma of dysgenetic gonad was reported. The patient was . a 28year old Korean female who complained of primary amenorrha. On physical examination, breast development was poor and external genitalia was infantile appearance.
Chromosomal analysis revealed 46 XY karytype, and Buccal smear was negative.
Laparoscope was done and at operation, uterus remnant, fallopian tube, testis like mass on right side and fibrous streak on left side were noted, and bilateral tissues were excised.
The mass was considered as gonadoblastoma of dysgenetic gonad, bilateral. A brief review of the literature was made.
